IPL franchisee owners play friendly match :P


The franchise owners and the officials of the Kings XI and Deccan Chargers played a friendly match after the last IPL round-robin league match on Saturday.
Bollywood actor and co-owner Punjab side Preity Zinta, Industrialists Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman and the owners of Deccan Chargers T Vinayak Ravi Reddy and Gayatri Reddy, participated in the game, enjoyed by the hundreds of fans.
Preity and Gayatri opened their respective innings. The Bollywood actor was seen giving a hug to a bowler after scoring a boundary off his bowling.
"The beauty of HPCA stadium forced these celebrities to come on to the field with all the gears for this friendly match. This friendly match is a celebration of the sport," Col. Arvinder Singh, COO, KXIP said.
Venkat Reddy, Promoter Deccan Chargers said, " Sports and entertainment go hand in hand. We're looking forward to some creative initiative, warm spirit and friendly competition on display during the friendly match.
